Just a quick question- I am sponsoring my common law partner. I am a physician which means that I'm employed by a hospital but also by my own medical corporation. The majority of my salary is through independent billings to the government, and on my notice of assessment my medical corporation is named as my employer. Which is best to indicate in terms of employment history as well as letter from employer? As the director of my corporation would I write a letter in response to myself as the employee?

thanks!

Just fill out the information requested (hours worked, pay etc) on a company letterhead but no need to "pretend" someone is writing it for you, if that's what you mean. It's perfectly fine to be self-employed.
