Common Law Partner Sponsorship

Hi everyone,
I want to sponsor my common law partner for PR. We have been living together since March 2020 but we are in a relationship since January 2020. What is the procedure and what are all the things which we have to include in our file ? Any suggestions will be appreciated

To be considered common-law a couple must live together for at least a year. What relation does this have to your wife you already sponsored for PR?

Hey!

you become common law after 1 year from the day you start living together.

You need documents such as Lease in both of your names, phone bills of both showing the same address, mails for both of you, government documents such as drivers license showing same address, gas/electricity bills, joint bank account, any amazon receipts, e-transfer receipts between you if there is any.

Basically anything that showes you and your partner’s name on it that is showing the same address for the period of 1 year.
