Hi everyone,
I am Canadian. My fiance and I currently live together in the US
When I got my checklist to apply for his permanent residency, I selected that I was sponsoring my common law partner, and when it asked which country the principal applicant lives in I selected the United States.
One of the forms it told me I need is the IMM 1334E.
On question number 6, it says "the principal application is your:" and it has a drop down menu of a bunch of different options. It has an option for common law partner living with you in Canada, but it does not have an option for common law partner living outside of Canada.
Do I have the wrong form? Or should I just fill in "common law partner living outside of Canada" in the "other" box?
Thank you!
