Common Law partner & getting married after PR

Hello guys,

we got our PR a couple of months ago with me as principal applicant and my wife common-law partner. We got married in our country last month, should I warn immigration before coming to Canada?

You can send a CSE to let them know. As it doesn't affect the app, you won't need to do anything.

Is it mandatory ? Can I do it after we arrive in Canada?
