All common-law applications, in Canada (Inland) and processed at a visa office (Outland) must be supported by at least 2 notarized letters.

Hey Charlied10,

The application is not going to be submitted Outland we are submitting inland here in Canada, so do we still need to have it notarized pls reply!

Cheers

Charlie, on the country specific guide for Latin America it never mentions anything about needing two notarized letters, but it does say notarized letters of support are preferred. I did include two letters that were notarized for our application, but I am curious, where does it that two notarized letters are mandatory?

Thanks :)

This whole thing is waaaayyyyyy soooo stressful... :(

Whoa that was quite rude. Not every common law application is the same.

I am applying through Mexico and did not include any notarized documents as it is not required.

You're right, so I have removed it. Perhaps the OP should just read their Guide which states:

If you are in a common‑law relationship

Proof of your common‑law relationship, such as:

joint bank account statements,
joint savings account statements,
joint credit card statements,
joint line of credit statements,
jointly signed lease,
jointly signed mortgage papers or purchase agreement,
statutory declarations from persons/individuals with knowledge that the relationship is genuine and continuing.

I didn't motorize anything except the stat declaration of common law, waiting for my copr now.
