They did give them the opportunity...
Ohhh, I see. Yes, common-law is a de facto status, meaning the ability to claim it relies completely on the ability to prove you lived together for a year. This is relevant to me as we applied common-law and it can be hard to prove if you don't have a joint lease, or a letter from the landlord or anything.

Honestly saying after i saw your status it is very hard to believe the relationship is true and authentic. Even you guys decide to get marry, the amount of time you guys spend together is too short to convince cic officer to believe it. And also beside joint account or lease. Did the applicant actually spend time in Canada and do activities also take account of. Or any photo taken during the event of you guys together.

When me and my wife submit our application in sept 2016. We submitted almost 1000 photos of our relationship, daily activities and marriage hard copy to them plus her bank account activities that i give her spending during she is in Canada. She also come her 2 years in advance to take some courses and get a certificate from the University. We also submitted a 3 pages report shown what our future plan is in Canada.

Our sponsorship and pr both approved this month.

So i believe all these thing we did they will take a detail look at to determine if the relationship is true or not.

Maybe ask her to come over to Canada and spend a year together before get marry and apply for inland...

Did you not actually read the post, they lived together for 3 years. It's just the proof of actual cohabitation that was lacking, which is very understandable in a country like Korea where it's very difficult to get joint accounts with a foreigner.
