I am currently on a full time job 8h to 16h30, monday to friday.
I would like to know if it is legal to work also the week end, on a part time basis, with a different company which is in retail.
By doing so, over a complete week I would be combining around 55 to 60 hours or so.
Could you please advise if this is doable from a legal standpoint?
Reason for all this, is that if I am laid off unexpectedly from the full time job, by keeping and entertaining a part time job I would have some sort of financial mitigation or safety net in place. I have a family in charge.
