combined visa requests - visitor visa and study visa

Hello,
My uncle who is my sponsor and I, have applied online for a visitor visa(for him) and a study visa(for me) on the 22nd of May together in one mycic account(his one) and he is the main applicant. By now he is the only one to receive emails about his own application, I'm mentioned nowhere in those emails. It's been more than a month now, still I was not able to receive any email or at least the request to provide the medical report.
On his side, he was asked to send biometrics, which he did.
I'm kind of worried, has anyone gone through this? Please share your experience, peace!

WHY NOT APPLY FOR YOUR STUDY PERMIT SEPARATELY?

Hi Brozachs and thanks for coming in.
Yes I thought as much but at the beginning I thought that combining it with my sponsor's visitor visa request would boost my chances but I guess I was wrong. Now I can't restart on my own because if I do, the estimated processing time in South Africa will surpass the starting date of school which is on the 6th of September. You think it's weird that they haven't asked for anything from me up to now?
