Combination Spouse sponsor/ visitor visa

Hi I'm looking for some information. I recently got married in Fiji, to a Fijian citizen. I am a Canadian Citizen, born and raised. I'm staying in Fiji for 4 months with him and then going back to Canada. I'm 2 months pregnant and I want him to be there for the birth of our first born baby. Is it possible for him to come back with me to Canada on a visitor visa, while his sponsorship outbound papers are being processed and then return to Fiji after???

While possible, you should note that not many TRV's are granted to spouses who want to visit their partner in Canada.
IO's may see it as a risk (that the partner will not leave when the TRV expires).

I agree with baloo...but make sure your hubby has proof that he will go back after the birth...such as a plane ticket (with the return date), a letter from his employer stating he will be returning to work (with the date and signature) etc.
