I find that the most important factor for processing delays of spouse application is whether the sponsored spouse will have a security screening or not.
Can someone tell me how long this security screening process takes...

It could take about 9 months. The screening is usually initiated after paper screening at the High Commission.

Mayflower i did send you inbox msg but i donno if you received. I think we just have to wait for the process after 6 months of waiting you can call them and ask them.

Yes thank you; I did get your message. I am just worried that my ecas status hasn't even changed. I hope to hear something soon but per your advice, will give them a call if I don't hear anything in the next 6 months.
