I am from Pakistan. Many students have applied in canadian colleges here for study permits to CIC ISLAMABAD.
We are all very confused to see that CIC,Islamabad is only issuing study permits to universitiy students.
While those who have applied in colleges are waiting for any response from CIC since December,2011.
This is a thing to little worry about.
We have seen many university applicants who got medical calls just within 20 days. But college applicants are still waiting.
Why is it so?

If CIC is not interested to entertain college applicants any more then you should mention it on your official website of cic. you can save this precious time of many more students by doing this.

Plz now take some serious action about this, its a humble request of all students including me, as future of many students based on your quick decision.

I would be very grateful to you if you contact the Canadian Embassy in Islamabad and make sure that they will process college applications & university applications both parallel.
I hope you will do something on this very important issue.

don't contact college because they can't do anything for us and normally they don't ask embassy about our problems.

well it depends on many many things. loan letter is fine provided you show enough money to cover the tuition plus living and all other expenses of ist year. Indian students get lots of visas on loans. I don't have any idea about pakistanis. but that should be fine as cic wants proof of financial evidence.
Your course should match to your previous studies and work experience if any. is ELF an english language course?
you have to show them that you have good ties to your home country and will come back after studies.

loan amount is round about 28,00 000 rp. i think its more than enough.
yes it is an english language.my first application was for petroleum engineering bt college issued me conditional letter and later on they refused my application and offered me this course.

how did u get the loan ? on what basis and from which bank? because now a days its hard to get loan in pakistan.
