Hello, I'm new here. I plan to apply as an immigrant too under FJW category. I'm 42 years of age, 2 kids and a wife who is back in college. I was suppose to graduate in 1990 from a prestigious school in Manila but I opted to work, lacking only 12 minor college units then.

But luckily, my status was accepted by the Japanese Embassy, Kuwait Embassy and Saudi Embassies when I applied for work in those countries.

I'd like to know what is the exact status for my case like this when immigrating to Canada? Thanks so much for any advise. Or any previous links related to this topic would be of much help too. Thanks so much for any advise.

Thank you very much Wilson and for the link! My NOC listing is 1122 so I hope this is okay. I thought a degree was needed, whew! I still have 1 other question ifyou don't mind: 5 of my previous employers closed down several years ago. How do I get a previous certificate of employment?
