College Or University....which one to prefer for study in Canada

hello seniors,

Ive noted my Educational stats along with Work Ex. Can anyone stuyding in canada or having any ideas would guide me, as I'm really confused.

Graduate in Commerce - 53.42%
2yrs exp - Accounts
1yr exp - Banking domain.

Now I'm confused as in doing a PG diploma 1 yr or 2 yr from a College or do a Masters from a University.
I really wish to have quality education as some dollars extra would not be a problem if the education is better.

Does anyone know some good university for finance or accounts

OR

If college is good enough in terms of Employment preference then, a good college.

Also accommodation and good part time availability of jobs.

Any better city where there are good employment prospects

Please advice seniors and forum members.

Master's degree coz that really gives you more options to stay in Canada...3 yrs of PGWP..some provinces give nomination for PR based on your master's degree and no job offer/experience is required...Diploma is a weaker option as it will only give you 1 year of PGWP and after that you will have to go through LMO process and FSW point system for residency here...

Also, you can complete your master's degree in 1-1.5 yr and still get 3 yrs of PGWP by taking extra credit (work load)...Look for province nomination streams for you to select which province you must go for your education...AND people regard Master's people here.....Good Job...extra money..unlike diploma..where in you will face competition...

It totally depends whether you can get an admission in Master's program - If yes! Then go for it

Diploma - I wouldn't prefer.

These 2 universities can give u admissions in MBA.

VIU gives u a dual degree i.e MBA & Mscib(i thnk) in 14 months.

And can any1 solve my prblm also-

My profile is as follows:-
10th standard - 64%
12th standard - 74%(without maths)
Bcom(correspondence)(Delhi Univrsity)-60%
Ielts -6.5 bands

So,i will be applying for 2 years pg diploma in ibm or mArketing.
Am i eligible according to my marks i graduation & school.

& as u see i was not having mathematics in 12th class but i was having Business Mathematics & statistics as a subject in my bcom 2nd year in which i scored 65%.

So will i be consider as a student with maths or without maths.

Any info will be of great help.

I am very sorry for my words and apolegitically take them back, It is so kind of you to help me out. Im really grateful to u.

I nneded some help from u as u have already landed in canada,

1. what are the job prospects in canada, if any which city or state has better job opportunities.
2. Is accounting job considered of imp, if yes then what are the employment chances after studies.
3 . If not then, Is Int. Business Mgmt a better course from a College like GBC, George Brown College which will grant me 1 yr visa.
4. Is it easy to apply for a another college after 1 yr to get a 3 yr wok visa.
5. Any better colleges that are considered good from emp prospects.

To get 3 year pgwp u have to pursue a course of 2 year or more duration.

You will not be eligible for 3 year work permit if u do two 1 year pg diploma or certificate.

If u are doing a 1 year diploma the you have to pursue master degree of 1 year or more year to be eligible for 3 yr wrk permit.
