Hi i'm from India and studying in last year of B.E. in Automobile engineering which i will complete in June 2017. After that im planning for Canada for September 2017 intake , below is my profile:
10th - gseb - 88%
12th - gshseb - 75%
B.E. - gtu - 7.8 - cgpa
IELTS - 8.5 , 6.5 , 6.0 , 6.5 L,R,W,S. and overall 7.0
so here is my question , what should i select P.G. diploma or masters? As my intention is to get P.R. easily and quickly , also i want to stay in my field which is related to automobile , so what should i really consider?
i have found one program in Georgian college ( Automotive Business school of canada ) which i really find interesting and also its co-op program, but i think its diploma program , so should i opt for it or not? in terms of getting visa , as its diploma after my B.E. degree , is it advisable ?
Also im looking for advice for other colleges or universities and the programs related to my field, i will be more than happy to hear from you .
another topic is that im also concerned about Tuition Fees and expenses , so please let me know the scholarships options available for my profile whether from india or canada or college.
Any other advice or suggestions are most welcomed , and many thanks in advance..

Hello Mit,
Why do you want to pursue Diploma after having quite good academics? It is totally not advisable to go for Diploma after Bachelors.
Go for PG or Masters.
As you have good acadmics, you will probably get admitted into one of the good universities for Masters programme. Universities alsp provide funding/scholarship for stuies, but it depends on your profile.

Dont think for PR right now if you want to study first.
But if you want to keep PR factor in mind, then chose the province wisely as I read somewhere that Quebec, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia has easy PR rules than Ontario and BC.
Try to search a better programme in University.
I am giving you names of some good university that you can get admitted on basis of your academics.

1 Concordia Uni, Quebec
2 Dalhousie Uni, Nova Scotia
3 Western Uni, Ontario
4 Uni of Victoria, British Columbia
5 Carelton Uni, Ontario
6 Uni of Ottawa, Ontario
7 Uni of Saskatchewan
8 Uni of Manitoba

You can search for other unis too.
All the best

thanks brother for precious advice; but i want to continue with automobile and for that there are few universities that offer it and many of them have completed deadlines for fall 17; there is automobile program in uni of ontario and uni of windsor and uni of windsor has still open deadlines and i think its the only choice left for automobile in uni.
as i said before i like one program at Georgian, Barrie Automotive Business school of canada. What is your opinion about it? Also there are many colleges that have programs like (Motive power, automotive technician etc.) which i am interested in and centennial college is also good option for automobile .
i am concerned about practicals and co-op programs thats why i focus on colleges rather than universities
and again thanks for writing to me brother..

I also appreciate the Co-op programmes offered at college. I m not offending about education in any colleges, but if I were to, I would definately chose University over college eventhough I have to wait in homecountry because of missing deadlines for one-two terms..
