Hey All,

I have received my visa with a LOA form a particular college and now I want to join another one due to funds issue.
So is it possible to directly join the other college and land directly at their port of entry or I have to go to province of 1st college and then go from there to one I want to join ??

I know that one can change programs at same level after getting visa ...but how is it done practically , I want to know!!!!!

Pls help!!!!!!!

You just show the LOA of the institution you want to join at the port of entry nothing else is needed.

Are you saying this by experience or someone u know who has done this ....As I doubt its that simple !!!

I am saying this by reading posts in this forum. There is a person who has done it recently I think. Search the forum you will find it.

Looking for more inputs guys .....Anyone who has done this or have some solid info on this !!!

There is a link in the CIC that confirms you can change institution.SO it is simple as that.

I got a LOA, Study Permit and Visa from LSBF canada (private institute) halfway through I shifter to Humber. You can study anywhere if you have a valid study permit, doesn't matter which institution. My study permit will expire on the 31st of August 2013, but my extension just got approved till 2016. So no worried :)

Hey thnkx, but you have reached Canada and after that changed course.
I want to know if I can change course before going to Canada and what port should I enter from ...old one or new one and what will the docs required there .......

HI, this is very simple, you just have to give new OL from other institute and give it the college to which you have deposited fee. They will transfer it to other institute, but they will deduct some charges (amount vary to institute to institute) . Hope this will help you

I'm not asking for transfer of fees thing, I wanted to know the procedure on entering the Canada, if I choose to change my college after getting visa and before landing in Canada.
Will I be allowed to enter the new college city/province or I need to enter the one with which I applied for visa first and then fly to other college ??

Dear, some good ranking institutes stops offering OLs for September in july end. anyway if you arrange the same...ill suggest you to enter to that province/college from which you got visa first. and regarding transfer of fee from your college, its better you ask them to transfer the fee on day 1, other wise they will deduct a heavy amount.
