Code 0213 eligibility doubts

I am working as a Advisory System Analyst with IBM India for lat 3+ yrs. Having a total IT exp of 9+ yrs.

Some of my job roles:-
> Estimate each integration change
> Release planning for the project in conjunction with client.
> Impact analysis for the changes.
> Resource allocation and recruitment [when necessary].
> Communication with various teams, those are stake holders
> Regular status meeting with the client and inter team coordination.
> Preparing design documents and test plans.
> Problem management.

However IBM will not give any certificate describing any of these. Against policy.

How do I prove it? do I need to actually? Am I eligible?

My Qualification:- BSc, MCA [IGNOU]
Is there any issue regarding distance education degree?
Both these Univ probably do not issue transcripts. Are they mandatory? What shall I do?

For management three things are compulsory

1- To hire, reward , train and supervise subordinates
2- Control budget
3-To plan and implement policies

Above all are missing in your duties. So in my opinion your duties do not fall in 0213

unfortunately you need to have employers letter describing all these duty.

if not from IBM, can you get it from any previous employer because you said you have 9 years of experience.

in worst case, if IBM does not provide you with the letter, submit whatever letter you have currently.

Do one more thing, you would have some job experience letter from Employers or clients. attach them as well, while submitting a document, prepare one letter by yourself quoting the Explanation Regarding NOC0213. Explain what you have performed in IBM or as a system manager and also explain why you cannot have such kind of letter from the company.

If you are genuine and you did the job duties like that, CIC may accept it. Trust me, CIC looks how you are filing your application and how do you mention in your covering letter.

I am not saying that they will accept it but you can put your 100% effort to make it done. Go with whatever you have.

Hello Canadp

First let me thank you for your reply. It was quite encouraging.

Yes over all these years I have worked in different companies. I have their experience letter, awards, and client appreciation mails.

None of these will work for my application. I understand that I have to discuss with previous companies to see what can be done.

Besides, regarding transcrips also
BSc - Ranchi Univ - will provide no transcripts so I can submit only notarised copy
MCA - IGNOU - Transcripts possible.

Will this issue impose another problem?

I have seen in this forum, that some people has sent notarized copy in case if they are not able to get Transcript.

So it will work fine. with your application attach an explanatory note for the piece of information where you are not able to provide information as what CIC requested and explain the reason.

So even if you are not able to get letter from your old employer, just go with IBM letter whatever it is. ( YOU SAID YOU HAVE IT BUT NOT EXACTLY WITH WHAT IS MENTIONED IN 0213 )

When you will submit your full documents and if you are not eligible you will get refund so no need to worry. And once process starts and your application is rejected on later stage that can happen to anyone when you loose your money.
