My husband will be sponsoring me for PR. Is a co-signer required? Who would be a recommended person to co-sign? A parent, a boss....? We are just starting the process for PR, and I have to admit I'm really intimidated by the whole thing.

When sponsored by your spouse the following applies:

The signed agreement stands for three years (no matter what happens) - the sponsor agrees to provide for their spouse.
The sponsor has to show that they are not bankrupt or getting social assistance.
There are no financial requirements that have to be met (earnings/income).
You do not have to meet minimum income or savings levels.

And to answer your question....
You do not need a co-signer - not required for spousal sponsorship.

I don't think that parent or boss can co-sign the sponsorship.
Anyway, you don't need it when your husband is sponsoring you.
Good luck with your application!

No. Co-signers are not necessary for spousal sponsorship.
