Co-Signer income proof for dependent child sponsor

Hi,
i am sponsoring my Newborn Kid PR. i am the sponsor and my wife as co-signer. i submitted all my employment and income proofs as main sponsor.
We got a mail from IRCC asking for employment proof for co-signer, but she doesn't have any job or work history in Canada? What document to submit in this case? should we provide Letter of explaination for No income?

You have to respond so just tell the truth. Reality is, you didn't need a cosigner.

It should not be an issue though, it's just the procedure to check the cosigner.
