Please someone tell me what is the meaning of Co-op program, I am accepted in Diploma in Business By University of Canada, There is a Co-op option on website of University that Co-op Can be chosen if any Student want? Can I apply Co-op work permit with the Letter from University stating the Name of Course

in Acceptance Letter?

co-op means you will work for a company and that will be part of your course. it will help you get Canadian work experience and if you are good enough you can get a job in that company itself after your co-op. It is normal for the co-op to last 1 semester, that is 4 months. However, you will have to meet some requirements in order to get a co-op and you have to apply for a separate permit which can be done in Canada or in India if it's mandatory. You will get a separate letter with you're offer letter stating that you have a co-op. If you have to opt in after you're the first semester then you will get the letter later on and you can apply in Canada. If you seriously want the job in the course you are taking then it is 100% beneficial to you.

what is the definition of Co-op program?

The program you are applying for must be a co-op. There are different words used like work placement, work term, internship, co-op. It will be mentioned in your program page. Only for those programs can you go for a co-op.
