I am surprised for you question.

No doubt, Co-op is an excellent way to earn the most precious "Canadian Work Experience". It's a way to make networking, to enlarge your skills. It's a MUST, infact you should feel lucky that you are getting a co-op term. In Canada, the biggest problem for an International student is the lack of real time 'Canadian Work Experience'. So, why not take advantage of as many co-op terms as possible ?

Your possible employer would be interested in your work experience and skills, and co-op is a way to make that possible.
