It has to be in skill level A/B or O in the NOC, it is unlikely that CoOp would fall into the category.

A friend of mine had to clarify that for a relative of his recently in regards to co-op specifically done in a mineral engineering context, and was told that it didn't count =/

Experience under a study permit will not count

No - your part time experience doesn't count under CEC. Any experienced you gained while studying doesn't count towards the 1 year requirement for CEC. Only work experience you gain AFTER completing your studies counts.
