Hi all,

I've seen a few threads about this, but am still confused. I'd appreciate your help!

I have 1 year of Canadian work experience, and so am qualified for both FSW and CEC. In addition to this, I have 1 year (cumulative) of paid internships from when I was in university in my home country of Ireland. They were part of my degree. Can they be counted as additional (foreign) work experience towards either CEC or FSW?

Thanks very much in advance.

Yes, as long as you can prove it you can count it as foreign work experience. If you qualify for the CEC you will apply that way.

I'm surprised that it can be counted as additional foreign work experience under CEC! Are you sure about this? I'm sorry to question you, I've just read so much conflicting information.
