Closed work permit processing time inside Canada

please guys look at this scenario, LMIA is valid for 6 month right ? now u applied for closed work permit, at this point ur open work permit got expired and the 6 month allocated for LMIAhas elapsed, can one continue working ?

Please I don’t know if anyone is in the same boat as me. I applied for a work permit with LMIA exemption and in the application it requested for invitation letter but am in Canada. I added the nomination work supporting letter and nomination. I want to know if that’s the right one and what is the processing time like

Similar but not exactly the same since the assessment for a CWP is far more substantial than PGWP and SOWP. Timelines likely to diverge more as IRCC actually starts vetting the applications and is trying to reduce volume of temporary residents.
