Closed work permit processing time inside Canada

I have applied for my closed work permit on 18th April along with SOWP. Anybody here during same timelines and still waiting for the decision???

I would like to know the process as Im planning to apply for a closed work permit and they are a new employer in Canada unfamiliar with the process. It would be great if you could share your inputs. We can connect on whats app if that works on 4389792658

You cannot apply for a closed work permit until employer has an approved LMIA. Google - hire a temporary worker - and tell employer to read the requirements. If a new company may not be eligible and they need to document the recruitment process for your job proving no Canadian has the education, work experience and language skills to do the job. Assume it is high wage too.

@Sandeep Bandi : if you are unfamilliar about the process, it is better to consult an immigration lawyer or consultant as there have been major changes to LMIA process and closed work permits. My experience was only related to my case and can not be a general scenario. So I highly suggest to consult an expert. And it is better/safe to check with a consultany from Canada.
