Hi,
I am currently on closed work permit, and I am currently in year 2 of my 2 year work permit. Last month I got ITA under CEC and have submitted my PR application. In the meantime I had these questions:
1. Is the PR application still valid if I were to loose my job?
2. Can I change my job while I wait for my PR processing?
3. How much time is bridge work permit taking? And how long before should one apply for it?

Thanks

1. Yes.
2. You need to apply for a BOWP and wait for the BOWP to be approved before you can switch employers. You will need to wait until your closed work permit is within 4 months of expiry before you can apply for the BOWP.
3. I don't know current processing times.

My employer will apply for bridge work permit. Are all bridge work permits open? and does my PR application have to have pass the completeness check to apply for BOWP?

Considering CECs are being processed in full capacity, you might get your PR directly in few months.
