Closed Work Permit Non-GTS LMIA Timeline From India

I have applied for work permit under ICT Non-GSS Category from India. Can anyone confirm if there is any WhatsApp group available for this? And any tracker available which has the past applicants timelines? It would be really great if you could help me with the same. Thanks in advance!

Application submitted : 14th June 2022
Biometrics submission : 22nd June 2022

Hi Pradhi. I don’t know if there is a WA group for non GSS category India. There is however a tracker you can check for current applications. Currently there isn’t a specific processing time for ICT NON GSS category. I applied from UAE and it’s been 23 weeks and I’m still waiting for an update.

I have received my OPR ( Original Passport Request ) letter
On July 8th
Exactly 3 months from the date of my Biometrics April 7th.
Excited for next steps.

I live in India. I got Job in Canada.
So my company sponsored me LMIA and gave a canadian representative to file my work permit application.

This is my first abroad Job

My passport got picked up on 16th Saturday
It reached VFS on 19th for processing.

Maybe in few days I will get it back.

Oh, so we don't have to send the passports by courier...So is the pick up arranged by VFS?

They will arrange. Yes

have to pay approx ₹1800 online for two way courier service using the below link and give our address in the form we fill in the given link below

Then they will send a courier guy to our home to collect

1. Passport
2. OPR letter
3. Consent from
4. Courier form
5. Email received from VFS with AWB number"

You can pack the above documents in an envelope and give them when courier guy comes
