Please post your work permit processing timeline from India

I have applied for my Work permit from India after receiving endorsement letter from New Brunswick province via Atlantic immigration Program (AIP), below is the timeline

November 27, 2024 - Work Permit Application Submitted (I had previously updated my Biometrics for PR application, so they were not requested for this application and i got the submission confirmation on the same day)
December 4, 2024 - Medicals Requested
December 29, 2024 - Medicals passed and updated

NOC - 21220 (non-essential occupation)

- After that I didn't receive any update from IRCC, My eligibility check has not started yet, it shows they are still doing my background check.
- The current processing time (official) for the work permit from India is 20 weeks, and its been 17+ weeks now...(Calculated from Nov 27)
- I have referred to multiple blogs/threads/websites and found that the processing from India might take between 21 weeks to 34 weeks :(. I'm concerned because the delay could potentially impact my employment (All I have is 4 more weeks).

My questions are:

1. When will my eligibility review start? and how much time does the review take?
2. Will I get an update via email if my eligibility review starts?
3. How much time does it take to get the final decision from there?
4. When will I receive PPR? and how much time will it take to get the passport back?
5. Is there any way I can get an official confirmation from IRCC about my application's remaining processing time? - I should show this to my employer to save my job.

1. It's really not possible for any of us to say for certain when eligibility will start.
2. No
3. Again, I don't think any of us can tell you the exact processing time to expect.
4. Similar to the above, none of us can tell you when you will get PPR. Normally it takes a few weeks to get your passport back.
5. No. IRCC won't give you a communication regarding your application's remaining processing time.

Thanks for the response @scylla

Is it possible for non - essential occupation work permits to be processed in the 21 weeks time frame? even a small update helps me retain my job
