Hi everyone!
I have a 24-month contract, a month has passed since its start and there is still no news about my visa. I want to ask if my visa and work permit will be issued according to the contract or 24 months from the date the visa will be issued? For example, if it is issued by the date that my contract is written, should I apply for a work permit extension for the period that has passed?
Your employee contract has nothing to do with IRCC. Length will be determined by IRCC. So wait and see. You can extend your work permit, if eligible to extend your permit.

Good Morning,

I am currently on a Young Professional Visa, my partner is bound to my visa with an Open Work permit.
Does anyone know in case I'll get terminated if this impacts my spouse's open work permit?

Thank you,
Sarah

I made a mistake in the job title section of the imm1295 form and instead of entering the NOC numbers, I typed the job title. I'm eligible for the essential service, but the IRCC website says I just need to enter the number. How do you think I should fix it?

Can you please help me? Does entering a job title by word instead of a NOC number have a negative effect at the time of review?

Not sure, but maybe set up a letter explaining the error and send it via webform. Indicate or list the correct data : job title, NOC Code and your personal data, including application number, UCI.

Or.. Withdraw the whole application and create a complete new one with the correct data and NOC code, if you want to get sure.

You're still in the application process, correct?? Or have you already been invited and your company has sent all the data?

It has been 6 weeks since I submitted my application with all the documents provided by the employer, such as the contract, employment number. If I withdraw the application , I will lose these six weeks.

Ok got it, that would be frustrating.
Maybe consider the web form. It will get uploaded to your profile/UCI an the officer will see the form.

But maybe it doesn't even matter. If the employer has uploaded everything on their side, I can imagine you'll be fine too.
I remember that for my Young Professional Visa, the employer had to type in the NOC Code as well. Check with them if that was the case.

Yes, the employer is a university and they uploaded all necessary information on the employer portal such as NOC code to obtain employment numbers.

Hi dears,
Please advise
I applied for Canada work visa from India and last week I received PPR.
Due to the current issues, seems it might take longer processing time in India.
So, I'm planning to submit passport in VFS Saudi Arabia (I'm employed in Saudi Arabia since 2018).
Is it possible?
will affect the result?
