Closed LMIA exempt NOC Code vs Express Entry Profile NOC

Hi all, was hoping to get some advice.

I am currently on a closed, employer specific work permit (via ICT which was LMIA exempt).

I learned that while applying for work permit my company's immigration team used 6221 NOC code instead of 2171.

Although my responsibilities are closer to 2171 NOC code, while creating Express entry profile should I stick with NOC code used in Work Permit application for consistency or is it okay to use another NOC code?

Use the same NOC. It’ll help you in your PR application. Owise you’ll mess up everything.
