Hi all,
I am on close work permit in canada but because of some problems I had left my job in october 2019 in canada and I came to India on october 15, 2019 since then I am still in India. My employer said they will cancel my work permit and my wife is still there in Canada, she got OWP on my close work permit and then she converted it into the study permit because of not good relations with my wife there that time I came to india and my employer is the known person of my wife they always interfere in our home situations.
As I am fixing my relations nowadays my concern is that if I move back to canada may be the immigration department will stop me on airport. Will they allow me to move into canada? Is my work permit is cancelled or not? I have my work permit and work visa upto July 2021
Please help and suggest the solution
Thanks

You employer cannot cancel your permit.
Technically yes You can still enter Canada but there's always the chance that you may be refused entry at the border, and also you won't be able to work in Canada for any other employer unless you get a new work permit.

You are subject to examination at the border by CBSA. You may be asked about purpose of your travel and you may be questioned about your employment.
You may be allowed in or you could be refused entry if CBSA is not satisfied with your answers, just like any other temporary resident seeking entry

If your permit was revoked, IRCC would've attempted to notify you by mail or email. No there's no way to check online. You can call or contact them via web form if you want to

Thanks,
Before coming to India I tried to apply for PR individually because when I calculated my points with my wife I am not meeting the CRS cut off requirements but when I calculated individually then my score was ok and I got the invitation also but then my wife not ready to go for her medical and police clearance
Is there any way that she can apply PR individually without telling me if I am in india?
How long I can stay outside canada with having work permit?

She can't if you are still legally married. She would need your medical and PCC.

As long as you want. You are under no obligation to come back
Again if you do come back, you'll be subject to examination and review at the border

No such thing.
But the longer you stay outside of Canada, the more likely you could be questioned about your employment when you come back

Hi guys, I would like to as this is related to Close Work Permit - LMIA Exempt. I wanted to ask, My CWP filed as my job location is in BC. Is there any possibility that the same company can transfer me to Quebec?
