Dear Seniors.

If someone work as an agent to a Canadian business abroad ( Send students to an education institute) based on a commission NO salary would he/she be able to count his day in order to meet the Residency Obligations ?

If he/she is working on commission how he would be considered as worker on full time basis?

All the best

HA

In my opinion, there is no possibility of this being counted as contribution to the residency obligation requirements.

What if they mention in the agreement that he/she is working as client of Canadian business on full time basis?

It doesn't make any difference. It still won't count towards your residency obligation.

The only way that it would work is if you joined the company in Canada, worked here for a while and then were transferred to an overseas office. Even then, CIC would do some fairly thorough diligence on your employer to ensure that the company was of a suitable size and had a sufficient track record. Many have tried to exploit this "loophole" in the past.
