Or you guys would do it with some extra days as buffer? say, one week or two? Any on eget RQ due to this kind of ridiculous reason?
It would be good if you guys can talk with your own experience.
Thanks a lot!

PS: The precondition is , we are all very certain about our calculation.

and if you used buffer time, how long do you think is sufficient to avoid RQ?
For me, I will reach 1095 days on May 06,2015, and i am wondering should i send right after that to avoid possible C-24, or should i wait another week (say, May 14 or so) for security seek.

Your comments highly appreciated!

Did it with 1096 days and stuck in RQ. my colleague on the other hand did it with 1095 days sailed through smooth and got his citizenship in 6 months. So you never know its a coin toss and hope it lands on your side rather than on the CIC.

I guess i would let one extra week buffer before i submit the package. Can't give a longer one due to that the stupid c-24 could burst at any time..

Yes, I did and so did my friend. May be even more than I did. I was told in my interview that the RQ could be due to multiple travel to home country. In 5 years I visited 6 times each 30 odd days which considering the distance is not undue time.

Also my RQ was issued by Sydney and they do this like machine without analyzing the actual case. I had provided all details like OHIP report, CBP, CBSA, credit card statements. Nothing helped.

So it is just a hit or a miss in dealing with CIC. I know a guy who used friends place as his residence and never changed got his citizenship in 5 months.(app to Oath).

You mean you provided these materials along with your initial CIT0002 form?

Yes, I sent all of those with my initial application and again with RQ.

The thing is when I applied I was hesitant to apply with 1096 days. During that time there was a fear that they may change the rule as soon as the bill gets a royal assent. I didn't know when that would happen. So thinking that I will have to wait two more years if I don't apply as soon as I can, I applied with 1096 days. Hindsight I would have waited another 30 or 40 days to apply. Life will be easier that way.

atleast wait 3 weeks that will atleast take you 1100s and makes it a little farther away from 1095 pitfall

It won't be implemented before June for sure. I'm applying for my wife on May 14th with 1130 days. So don't worry too much about it. thank that you are at least able to apply when some of them can be missing it because they are in the cusp.

Well, the thing is , no one can guarantee c-24 will be hold from activation until this Jun... :(

BTW, your calculation was 100% accurate right? I knew some guys whose time stamp shows Feb 04 as entry date(example), so he used that date to calculate his time. However, he arrived airport in the deep night,
and it showed Feb 15 as entry date in the CSBA report...

I think Canada could have 1 million nobel prize winners if CIC can stop being so bitching and let all applicants save all the time wasted on these stupid items...

I would not even if you are 100% sure of the dates of your calculation. When we received my husband's CBSA report - several (around 6?) of his trips were off by a day (i.e. the CBSA report showed him returning a day later than he actually did). CIC used the CBSA dates (not our dates). So if you give yourself no buffer - this could put you under by CIC's calculation. Anyway - just my two cent based on my experience.
