I am presently a food counter attendant here in Canada and was an area manager back home for 7 years? Does my experience back home has bearing in applying for federal skilled worker since it is under skilled class. Or must I be employed here in Canada under class 0, A, B job to qualify for federal skilled worker PR program?

Thank you in advance for the help.

Hi,
Your 7 years experience as a manager is an additional point if you applied for the federal skilled class.. Points on the years of experience you have.. You can check in the website cic.gc.ca the corresponding points.. You can also check your eligibility to apply for the federal skilled program in the website.
