Hi,

My WIfe has 14 years Education Degree, meaning 10 (Matric) + 2 (Intermediate) + 2 (Bechalors Degree) and One year Computer Diploma.

So this entitles me a 4 points in adaptability, but infact while doing her Matric i.e., 10th Class, she actually studied for 8 years because she got promoted to 3rd class Directly from Class 1 and similarly to 7th CLass Directly from class 5th

So now my Question is, will CIC consider her education as 14 years or 12 years.

What the applicants send to visa office is marksheets/ degrees/ certificates after 10th standard. Normally they would not see the double jumps, unless they calculate the age of applicant.

the guides says: Points are awarded for earned educational credentials as well as the number of years of full-time studies or full-time equivalent studies. To be awarded points, you must meet both stated criteria.

So, if she was accelerated, it is still equivalent to full time. That's how I understand it to be.

Thanx Explorer and Jonethan,
