I have some queries:

1)How much minimum money should i show in my indian bank account for my living costs for getting the approval

2) i am appling under general catogory ,so will opening a GIC account with 10,000 CAD will be of any added advantage(or should i show money equalant to 10,000 cad in my indian account...because only 1 is possible.

3)can i pay money in GIC account through my uncles who are living in USA?

4)can i show my fathers Provident Fund Account(approx 45,000 CAD or 25,00,000 indian money) as a proof that i can afford my studies and stay in canada?

1. 10000 CAD.

2. Open a GIC account.

3. Should be fine I guess, unless the GIC account statement shows where the money came from. Are you working? If yes, CIC may believe you paid out of your own funds.

4. Guess you can if he is signing an affidavit pledging to support you financially.

Hi,

My take on your 4 points:

1) Minimum 10000 CAD. You should try to show as much as possible.
2) GIC not mandatory under general category. I never did any GIC and I got visa. Show money in your account or your father's account.
3) Try to avoid relatives other than blood relatives. More the sponsors, more is the complication hence try to avoid it. Use your father as your sponsor as you already have good funds to show.
4) Yes definitely use that. Its an asset.
5) Make sure you keep the approved bank loan letter in your application file.
Additionally get a letter from your father on a stamp paper that he will be supporting you financially throughout the tenure of your studies.

3. you can open GIC only by your own account, i.e you should send 10000 CAD from your own bank account

3)can i make my uncle in USA as my only sponsor because he can show more financial funds than my parents ??
and can you tell me why giving more than one sponsor is complicated?
