Clarification on Rejection

Hello forumites,

I recently faced a rejection due to apparent lack of funds from CIC which I have sent a CSE for.

Although this question might have been asked before, I want to know if CIC rejects your application, does it enlist ALL reasons in the rejection letter or just one reason and you're done?

I know this can be a speculative topic, but if someone has some link/source from CIC etc. I would be grateful!

Thanks!

Probably the only way of knowing this for sure is by looking into your GCMS notes. However, going by past member experience (including my own), getting refused for POF reasons is an indicator that your file was at the final stage.

Just further to this, this is what I'm doing for my proof of funds. I would love to hear your suggestions:

1) Bank Letter stating date I opened the accounts, that the accounts are in my name, current balance and average balance over 6 months (all on Bank Letterhead)
2) T4, Signed and valid gift Deed, Payslips
3) 6 months of statements

Anything else you can suggest from your experiences @Asivad or @iceman87?

Hopefully the letter head mentions their complete contact details and any big credits/debits (if any) explained in an LoE.

Posting this here as well:

For proof of financial support, do we have to submit bank certificates and bank statements for ALL bank accounts we have per bank?
Or do we need to just show bank certs and statements only for account/s where the fund is placed?

For my case I have a personal account where all funds are placed and another payroll account. I did not include the payroll account as the balance is small and fluctuates heavily. I also have a joint account with my sister with small balance.

The post-ITA checklist states all accounts, even including investments and debts....

If you are applying for permanent residence in Canada, you must provide an official letter issued by your financial institution indicating your financial profile. This must:

list of all your bank (chequing and savings) and investment accounts, the account numbers, dates each account was opened and the balance of each account over the past six months,
list all outstanding debts, such as credit cards and loans,
be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution, and include your name and the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and e-mail address).

Please advise. Thank you!

Hello everyone,

Re. this matter, starting December last year, OINP requested applicants to send a duplicate copy to OINP perhaps for the same issue CIC is having.
Hence that's what I did.

If I remember correctly, the order details indicated that one copy was sent to OINP and another to CIC. However I cannot confirm this as currently it only says a copy was sent to OINP.

Can anyone who knows please confirm whether this should suffice for CIC stage application/APR?

Thanks much in advance.

If your ECA# end with "IMM" then CIC already has access to it .

If you ordered a duplicate report for OINP and paid $75.71 (or something) then you can mail WES customer care and they would refund money to your card. $75.71 is cost for sending to both CIC & OINP.

But if your ECA# has "IMM" as suffix then it's already accessible to CIC so you were required to send report ONLY to OINP and for that WES is charging around $34 and hence they will make a refund.
