Hi all,

I'm planning to do my master's in Canada then apply via CEC (graduates) after 1 yr of work. The program however is 1 yr and according to cic you need 2 yrs of education...

"a one-year Master's program (certificates and diplomas cannot be counted) and an additional year of education, obtained in Canada, before admission into the one-year program (for a total of two years)"

I went to high school in Canada so was wondering whether that education would count as it does not specify that it has to be post-secondary education in the above explanation of the education requirement.

Thanks

It does indeed specify post-graduate education.

No, your high-school education will not count. Consider a 2 year program, or look into the Provincial Nominee Program for the province in which you will attend...
