Hi all,
As per the CIC guideline( which is available with Application package) all the police cleareances should not be old then 3 months, whn applying to CIO.
In that case they might be older then 3 months at the time of submitting the final application( I mean full documents to the visa office).

Can it make any problem? can any one please share real life experince?

You misunderstood.
PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) is required at the time of sending full docs to your local visa office.
CIO does not require PCC.

Sobinoy..you are right..as per instruction guide

"You may begin to gather your police certificates before submitting your application to the CIO. Although you will not submit the police certificate to the CIO, you must be ready to submit them to a visa office if your application is recommended for further assessment at a Canadian visa office. When you submit the application to the visa office please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months before you submitted your application to the [red]CIO[red].

Sobinoy, you are right. No problems. However, keep in mind that the local CHC may request new or updated PCCs at their discretion.

I'm applying to CIO at July. By this time going to collect all Police clearence. If get acceptence frIO, then will submit all papers to Visa officer by Novemeber.

can Visa office ask for updated police clearence again? Tht seems quite difficult to collect those several times.

Hi,

Whenever you submit the police clearance it should not be more than 3 months old. So if you get the Police Clearance now then you must have to submit it by end of August. If you submit it after that it wont be accepted and you will be asked to get a new one. So better wait and get PCC when you have sent your initial applications because it will take you atleast 60 days after submission to get a response from CIC.
