Hi Seniors,

My friend completed his 1 year Canadian work experience and will be applying under CEC. However, he wants to claim his 2 year foreign work experience from Ireland to increase his points.

The only problem is his father owns the company he worked for and he will be the one who will issue the employment letter. Although it was a real work experience with the right NOC, payslips and proof, do you think it will be a risk since he gained the work experience at his father's company?

Thanks so much!

Work experience within a family business is not unusual. If he can provide any external documentation, e.g. tax documents, that may be a good idea.
