Hi everyone,
I'm currently in Canada on an ICT work permit under the C12 specialized knowledge category. My work permit is valid until 2026. I recently applied for Express Entry but unfortunately, I didn't receive the 50 points for having a valid job offer in Canada.
Next month, I will complete two years of continuous residence in Canada under this ICT. My NOC code is 21231.
I've been researching online, and it seems that to claim the 50 points, I might need a letter from my employer guaranteeing my employment for at least one year. However, since I work for an MNC, I'm not sure if HR will be able to provide such a guarantee.
I'm a bit confused about how to proceed. Can anyone who has been in a similar situation or has expertise in this area please offer some guidance? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.
