Weeks, umm well I need I have from my ROE's

ROE July 30 2008 - April 03 2010

April 5 I broke my elbow and went on EI

EI April 10 2010 - September 11 2010

College Transcript

September 09 2010 - April 30 2011

ROE June 25 2011 - October 25 2011

ROE November 29 2011 - May 15 2012

ROE May 28 2012 - Into 2013

And I have other things to help fill in the other dates. I'm not sure how many weeks that would be but close to 150 in ROE alone.
So your ROE's show 612 days, 122 days, 168 days. (I'm not counting the last one because you said in another post that the end of your relevant period was in June 2012.) That's about 900 days. Pay slips are sometimes better because they normally show hours worked broken down by week, not per two weeks. ROEs don't normally distinguish between work and paid vacation.

I don't think getting EI shows much, unless you have proof of regular interviews with an EI official. You'll need to rely heavily on your other evidence for that period. For the college transcript, that shows 233 days.

I think you'll want to have a copy of the academic calendar for that year and subtract any vacation periods. Also get your employment contracts corresponding to the ROEs and show how much paid vacation you were entitled to. The less paid vacation time, the better.

Do you have your CBSA records?

I should have added that though pay slips have more detail sometimes, ROEs have the advantage of being succinct.

Do your pay slips generally distinguish between days worked and days of vacation?

I don't have my CBSA records, I have tried but for whatever reason I have never received copies. I also submitted another one not that long ago along with a FOIA request for the US.

No but my ROE's are broken down and have whether I did or didn't receive vacation pay

I think that with the passport fiasco, I would have considered it extra important to get these records. I would suggest you bring proof that you applied for the CBSA records but didn't get them. Maybe ask the CBSA again now about the failed request. FOIA requests from the US are notoriously long, I understand.

I think it's strange that CIC's forms say "Don't request your travel history from CBSA." Because it's definitely helpful if you know what's in it. Unfortunately, there's no guarantee that a citizenship judge will look at what's in it unless you show it to them. I read an appeal case where the appellant said the citizenship judge should have looked at his CBSA records, and the Federal Court justice said it was up to him to raise that issue with the citizenship judge.

If you feel at the end of your hearing that it may make a difference to your case, ask the citizenship judge for permission to submit the CBSA documents late. They may or may not accept, but it's worth a shot.

When did you apply for the CBSA records?

most recently was about a week ago, prior to that was July 2015.

I requested expedited service for my most recent FOIA request. It would be nice if you could get those records at the border.

I found my course schedule for the year of college I completed. It has the only break listed. it was for 3 weeks.

It's supposed to take 30 days to get the travel history. The only way you're going to get it in time is if you inquire about your July 2015 application and what ever happened to it.

I will inquire about it

currently collecting all my CRA documentation which includes t4's, assessments/reassessments, EI benefits, and carryover amounts

One of the T4's makes up for a missing ROE, not sure why but the ROE was no on my Service Canada account. I have pay stubs prior to June 2008, I know it is before the require date but in early 2008 I was working for a staffing agency and in May the company decided to hire me on so I have pay stub info and a T4 from the staffing agency. No ROE from them or the company but I know have a T4 for the company coupled with my tax stuff at least provides some light of my June-July 2008 whereabouts.

I also found various payment information to go with my college transcript and course schedule.

I also now have 10 Canadian Citizens who are in the process of writing a statement to verify my presence in Canada during those years and I am going to ask for more.

I'm glad you seem on your way to getting all the documents you need together.

Perhaps now focus your attention most closely on the periods when you didn't have pay slips or course transcripts.

I'm not sure to what extent the statement from the ten Canadians will help. For one thing, it might be best if these were affidavits (i.e., given under oath). Also, the people would need to specify particular dates on which they saw you in Canada, and say in what circumstances. People working for organizations you've dealt with, rather than friends or relatives, would be most convincing. Again, pay the most attention to periods where your evidence is weaker.

Will do!

I know it's not the strongest but I have emails I sent regarding jobs I had applied for and some of them have replies. I understand this doesn't exactly prove I am around but I think it will help fill in the gaps a bit.
