I just got my Confirmation Of Permanent Residence and it says:

Application details:

City of Destination: Calgary


My question is: Do I need a ticket to Calgary, Can I arrived wherever I want?

Do I have to live in Calgary or Can I live anywhere I want?

Permanent residency entintles you to live wherever you wish by default, unless its connected to Quebec with certain restrictions. But, to be on the safe side, why dont you consult with CIC on this matter. They should be able to provide you with a detailed explanation - specific to your case.

Not quite clear on the reason for Calgary, especially, if you did not request it. My recommendation is to inform yourself about pr regulations through the webpage provided and further, refer the matter to CIC. Congratulations by the way!
