hello everyone,

I am looking for some reviews by people who have bought the citizenshipsupport.ca package for $29. Is it good and helpful? Does it expire after sometime?

Also, do you people recommend any other websites or preparation material? I know about Richmond Public Library and obviously the Discover Canada book.

Thanks.
Hi Applicant20,

I just did my test, and I have to say that citizenshipsupport scares you into thinking the test is hard. I would advise you to scour google and do the practise tests online. They are good enough to prepare you. If you have a tablet/smartphone grab free apps which help prepare you from the appstore/marketplace.

My go to sites for practise were

http://www.v-soul.com/onlinetest/
http://www.apnatoronto.com/canadian-citizenship-test-practice/
http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/

My apps were(on apple devices):

Citizenship(by Radiant Labs) - A database of over 150 questions.
CACitizenship(It's 3.99 for the full version - I'd buy it.) - 206 hard questions that really prepare you for the test.
CanadaHD - Nifty app.
VCRC(made by the govt. of Canada) - this is an app version of yourlibrary and it simulates test conditions.

In case you're wondering - it took me all of 3 minutes(including a thorough check of my answers) to complete the test. I got 100%.

Good luck with your test!

PS: If you like my answer, please hit the positive rating tab next to my name :D

thank you for your reply. I am just worried about the names and dates. The history section is that worries me the most. Thank you for the encouragement you've shown by sharing your experience.

+1 :)

Don't worry about the dates, you don't need to know all of them except confederation, Remembrance day, Vimy Ridge and Nunavut addition. The rest are just general years, i.e. what year were women allowed to vote, etc. If you do enough practice tests, you should be able to memorize this information.

I used it and found it helpful. Probably the biggest benefit was the randomly generated simulated tests and how nicely the mobile site worked. I basically took the randomly generated simulated tests on my phone over and over. It was very convenient.

Can someone tell me the smartphone app name for this citizenship support.ca website.

There were some people who said they have used the app.

I'm looking for the app on Android. The only one I come across is named "Canadian Citizenship Test" by some developer named BinuApp. This does not seem to be right one as it does not ask for any login information for the citizenshisupport.ca website.

People who have used the app please reply.
Thanks

I didn't use any app. I just browsed to their website on my mobile phone. It will redirect to their mobile version of the site.

Citizenship support offers a terrible service. I purchased my package more than 4 days ago and I havent been able tu use it properly. The login and password was never delivered and I had to struggle to finally get it. The customer service is really slow to reply and does not even answer what you asked, there is no contact number to get someone to help with technical inquiries and if that was not enough the website was not working during the whole weekend. Today Monday, there has been no one from customer service to contact me regarding their technical issues even if I have already sent them 2 emails and the website is still not working. Really bad service!
