Hallo friends My Processing Office- Edmonton
I have a question
My Citizenship is in progress which i applied in June 2024
I got Finger print request Sept-2024
On Jan15 2025 received an update saying IRCC received Fingerprints and will process shortly
My Question is how long it takes after this to clear Background Check?
Does it change time if u have criminal record (Minor)

I am scared and nervous
Please answer if anybody had same or similar scenario?

Background checks can be completed in either days or years. The forum is full of people who applied in 2022 or 2023 and still waiting for their security screening to complete.
