I am in a similar position to cmsamo. However I was adopted by a Canadian citizen. I have just graduated university and want to move to Canada soon. I have sent away part 2 of my application to London and a citizenship preparation form to Canada. (Part 1 has been successfully returned to me)
How long did your application take cmsamo? Who did you speak to in the London embassy... a generic email?
Can I request an estimated time from the embassy? Would it be possible for my application to be flagged urgent if I had a job lined up? I see so many jobs I am qualified to apply for but can't due not knowing when I will be a citizen.
Any advice would be most greatly appreciated.
