I regret to inform you guys that the CITIZENSHIP TIMELINE SPREADSHEET that some of us have contributed in has been compromised and vandalized.
All entries were unfortunately deleted. Since I made the sheet public-access so people can add their own dates, I didn't anticipate that someone would be so brutal to destroy the information. WHY?!!! How can someone be so mean? I realize there's a lot of frustration with the lengthy process but whoever was responsible for the deletion is clearly undeserving to be Canadian.
In any case, thanks for everyone who took time to contribute. I decided to remove the link. It's quite unfortunate considering we have had 29 entries in there with 17 cases that have dates until the oath ceremony.
I did summarize the patterns that emerged from the spreadsheet when I last saw it intact:
17/29 entries so far (from tests between Dec 2013 and Jan 2014):
Time between passing citizenship test and notice of oath:
ranges from 0-8 weeks
Time between passing citizenship test and oath ceremony:
ranges from 2-12 weeks
majority between 6-7 weeks
So far the data is represented by entries from the GTA (Mississauga, Scarborough, St. Clair), Hamilton, Kitchener, London, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver and Winnipeg
