I have followed this thread for a while but have not had the confidence to participate. I have been invited for my test on the 29 the of January at TCU place at 9am. my application was received in September 2013. I think they have two tests on one at 9am and one at 1pm.

yes that would be six months the process is not complete however. I guess it is complete when you have received your oath.

i am going to have test on Jan 27. in the test invite, i were asked bring original documents. I couldnt locate my original checklist (since it s long time ago) and therefore, i downloaded the current check list of citizenship application. those who are gonna take exam on the same as mine or later, can tell what documents i have to bring. Do i need to bring photos as well?

Me and my spouse had test/interview on Nov 27 in saskatoon...
So i thought to give u some insight...
when we had test there were only 2 people other than us were there... I assume all from regina but test was in saskatoon, i assume all of us were RQed.
Test wasn't pretty simple it was a kind of tricky one.....more than I expected. There were around 3-4 true/false questions. I scored 19/20.
After that we waited around 15 min and then called in the room for interview...
Interviewer was very nice lady, She asked for invitation letter, IDs (License+HealthCard), PR card and passports (All).
What important thing she was doing is to Checking each page of passport paper alongside residence calculator from application. Actually checking the absences from that sheet and comparing with passport stamps to verify the authenticity.
She asked questions about employment, life and kids. But no hard questioning at all.
One thing she said while concluding the interview that now i am putting forward your name for oath ceremony. There are ceremonies in the month of Jan in saskatoon. and cermonies in regina will held in march. Where shall i add you in saskatoon or regina. Can you drive.... We said of course we can drive to saskatoon easily...
But guys we never got an invitation for saskatoon

License means Driving License as a proof of identity..
I practice thru apnatoronto.com
and install an app from Playstore for android cell citizenship test.... There is a beaver on the title. It has around 120question province specific too...

When you say the test was tricky what do you mean by that.
If you are in Regina, most probably they will call you for Regina oath... even though they have said they will put you in Saskatoon.

I have a stupid question but wanted to ask "Is the - Discover Canada enough to prepare and write the test or you would go for other sources?"

Technically the book is sufficient. There will NOT be any question outside the book, however, practicing online questions is very helpful. I have done many.
What time is your test amerzd, is it at 9 am or 1 pm? mine is at 1 pm.
I have also bought 6 sets of questions from v-soul... if anyone is interested in sharing I can send you pdfs of the question. Since I have paid for the questions, I would expect that we share the cost.. It is said that most of the questions, if not all will come from that source...
