citizenship timeline in Saskatoon

Does any one know about citizenship time line in Saskatchewan. whole processing time,,, time to get test date after submitting application????????

Can u share your time line with me. i heard in saskatoon, both test and oath ceremony on the same day. Good luck

Just got my invite to write test in S'toon today:

1.We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 15, 2011.


2.We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 15, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.


3.We started processing your application on November 22, 2012.

Note, that none of the events below were updated on eCAS, I actually had to get it from the call centre

4. File transferred to S'toon office on the 19/06/2013

5. Fingerprint Request sent on the 28/06/2013

6. Fingerprints submitted electronically on the 04/07/2013

7. Security clearance obtained 16/07/2013

8. Letter to write citizenship test on the 24/09/2013 received on the 10/09/2013.

That's it for now.

The citizenship test and oath are on the same day? One of my friends had both on the same day though long time ago ( i guess in 2009) not sure now..

Oath is not on the same day. I took the test on 12 June in Saskatoon which I passed and was told that I could expect to take the oath around mid-August. I am still waiting. I am hoping that I do not have to wait until Prince George of Cambridge becomes King.

Hey anin, just wondering if you ever got your oath letter. I was promised a similar thing in september regarding the december oath; but that didnt happen. I am thinking they have a large backlog for oath, especially since it is only 1 a month that take about 50 pax.
