Timeline:

Montreal, Quebec
Application submitted: 16th Oct 2011
Acknowledgment: 29th Oct 2011
Booklet received: 6th Nov 2011
Processing started: 10th Nov 2012
Still has status " In process"

Does anyone know how long it will take after In-process status for test?

My application is also in Montreal. I submitted in July 2011. My application started in process in July 2012, and I was called first time for the test in Dec 2012, but skipped and haven't get any response since then.

Good Luck

You may expect to get test notice any day.

Usually, it's 19-20 months from application date to test.

Check Montreal timeline: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0Ai9o70015IRPdFl6MnhXV0VZbnN1YnZWLXpld0Vya1E&type=view&gid=4&f=true&colid0=1&filterstr0=Montr%C3%A9al&sortcolid=-1&sortasc=true&rowsperpage=250

I will be attending the Oath ceremony on Sept 6th in Montreal. The entire process took 23 months.
I had my exam the last week of May.

Good luck to everyone.

I have not taken the test yet..just got the notification to get ready for it last week..it might take a year, but if I have the hunch that things are speeding up, I have a friend who applied in 2012 and it took him 7 months to get a notification saying they had received the application, in my case it was only 3 months. My friend, by the way, is still waiting for anything to happen.

Test Data Received on Jan 2014, test date is Feb 13 2014

So things do seem to be speeding up. I was expecting to wait at least 12 months after sending the RQ to hear any news, it only took 2. Mine's a pretty straightforward case, though.

Give them a call, my experience calling CIC has always been good, it takes a while to connect to an operator but oce you do they are very polite and give you reasonable answers..34 months is way to long

dear FL1040
I just got an RQ; after you filled the questionnaire and sent, did you have to see a judge or they just reviewed your questionnaire and gave you a decision by mail?
