Hello,

can you review your answers on the real citizenship test or once you answer you can’t change your answers? Can you skip questions and come back to it later ?
And is it true that questions have percentages? Like let’s say one question is 50% another question 20% ?
Also do they ask questions specific to your province ?
thank you

You will be able to mark questions for review and come back to them at the end (if you still have enough time), and every question carries same weight.

There is a bookmarked/sticky thread in the citizenship forum. You can find that link here.

Someone who got 20/20 won't say the test was hard. And it really isn't. If you spend as much time reading the book as you spend asking for every technicality about the test, don't worry, you'll pass it very easily, especially since you are probably fluent in English.

Has any one used passport instead of PR card?

Many people seem fearful of using the PR card because it lacks the signature... I wonde if the passport would be more of a sure shot.

Passport isn't explicitly mentioned as one of the documents that you can use for the test.

  • a piece of identification (ID), like
    • your permanent resident card (even if it’s expired), or
    • a valid (not expired) ID with your photo and signature on it (for example, driver’s licence or health card)
I wouldn't recommend using it if you have other documents like your PR card, your DL or Health card.
